Place the October origami sheet in front of you on a flat surface.

Turn the sheet so that the dated side is facing up. Be mindful of the orientation of the paper when making this model, and do not turn it unless instructed.

Fold the top left corner diagonally down to the bottom right corner, crease well and unfold.

Fold the bottom left corner diagonally up to the top right corner, crease well and unfold.

Turn the sheet over to the red side, positioned diagonally with the QR code facing you.

Fold the top corner down to the centre point.

Repeat on all sides, crease well and unfold.

Turn the sheet over to the dated side and position diagonally, with "October" on the left and the NDB logo on the right.

Locate the creases you created in step 6. Fold the lower crease up to the horizontal crease in the centre as shown, like a pleat.

Repeat on the upper crease.

Unfold the sheet.

Repeat step 9 on the left and right sides.

Fold the 2 left and right corners over to the middle.

Flip the shape over as shown, and fold the corners inwards as shown

Flip the shape over again, and turn the upper and lower pleated folds outwards.

Once opened out, your paper should look like this.

Flip the shape over again. On the left and right sides, tuck the corners inwards.

Fold the right side of the shape vertically towards the middle.

Repeat on the left side.

Flatten the shape out again, and turn over (left to right).

Bring the two marked folds together and create a valley crease in between.

Repeat on all sides, creasing well.

Fold the shape vertically down the middle and crease well.

Making sure the red section is on the right side of the shape, fold the bottom right corner inwards as shown, crease well and unfold.

Insert a finger underneath the red part of the crease you just unfolded. Open it and refold your crease from the previous step, squashing down the red piece into a diamond shape.

Tuck the upper part of the small diamond shape inwards behind itself.

Turn the shape over from top to bottom.

Repeat steps 24-26 on this side.

Put your hands under the shape and open it out, pushing inwards slightly from the top and bottom sides. The red section should now resemble a roof.

Working on one of the roof's short sides, locate the creases creased in step 21. Refold them inwards so that you have 2 pointed flaps on either side, each with a small pocket.

Tuck one pointed flap into the pocket of the other, creating a neat square edge.

Repeat on the other side, and your schoolhouse is complete!
